Knee Replacement
Knee replacement, also known as knee arthroplasty, is a surgical procedure to replace the weight-bearing surfaces of the knee joint to relieve pain and disability. It is most commonly performed for osteoarthritis, and also for other knee diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis.
Hip Replacement
Hip replacement is a surgical procedure in which the hip joint is replaced by a prosthetic implant, that is, a hip prosthesis. Hip replacement surgery can be performed as a total replacement or a hemi replacement.
Shoulder Replacement
Shoulder replacement is a surgical procedure in which all or part of the glenohumeral joint is replaced by a prosthetic implant. Such joint replacement surgery generally is conducted to relieve arthritis pain or fix severe physical joint damage.
Elbow Replacement
During elbow replacement, a surgeon replaces your elbow with an artificial joint made from two implants that attach to the bones in your arm. A metal and plastic hinge joins the implants together. The procedure is similar to hip and knee replacements.

Osteoarthritis
A type of arthritis that occurs when flexible tissue at the ends of bones wears down.
The wearing down of the protective tissue at the ends of bones (cartilage) occurs gradually and worsens over time.
Joint pain in the hands, neck, lower back, knees or hips is the most common symptom.
Medication, physiotherapy and sometimes surgery can help reduce pain and maintain joint movement.

Rheumatoid Arthritis
A chronic inflammatory disorder affecting many joints, including those in the hands and feet.
In rheumatoid arthritis, the body's immune system attacks its own tissue, including joints. In severe cases, it attacks internal organs.
Rheumatoid arthritis affects joint linings, causing painful swelling. Over long periods of time, the inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis can cause bone erosion and joint deformity.
While there's no cure for rheumatoid arthritis, physiotherapy and medication can help slow the disease's progression. Most cases can be managed with a class of medications called anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDS)

Neck Surgery
Complications during routine neck surgery are rare, and a study shows the most serious—death—is virtually nonexistent. Every surgical procedure carries a risk of complications. But even if the risk is low, serious complications can occur.

Limb Reconstruction Procedures
Limb Reconstruction (LR) surgeons use a variety of techniques to improve the length, shape, and function of a limb, by re-aligning bones, correctly positioning or stabilising joints, and sometimes making bones longer. When a limb has a different shape due to a problem with a bone or joint, this is called a 'deformity'.

Foot & Ankle
Foot and ankle surgery is a sub-specialty of orthopedics and podiatry that deals with the treatment, diagnosis and prevention of disorders of the foot and ankle.

Sports Injury
Sports injuries refer to the kinds of injury that occur during sports or exercise. While it is possible to injure any part of the body when playing sports, the term sports injuries is commonly used to refer to injuries of the musculoskeletal system.
WHEN A PARTIAL KNEE REPLACEMENT MAY BE A BETTER OPTION !

Total Knee Replacement surgery is done by Our Knee Surgeons & Knee Doctors , who specialises in replacing damage by trauma or arthritis in the knee joint with an artificial joint.

The goal is to relieve the pain in the knee caused by the damage done to the cartilage. When other more conservative methods of treating pain and loss of motion have been proven to be ineffective, knee replacement surgery may represent the best hope for long-term improvement of the joint. Joint replacement is an area of excellence at Udai Omni Hospital and the specialist are recognized for their expertise in the joint replacement techniques for knee and hip joints.

In a partial knee replacement, only the defective part of the knee is replaced, thus sparing the normal part of the knee. More than 25% of patients with severe knee arthritis may be suitable candidates for a partial knee replacement.
We are specialized in the areas of Total Hip Replacement, Hip Resurfacing, Total Knee Replacement, Unicondylar (partial) Knee Replacement, Revision Hip and Knee Replacement, Minimally Invasive Knee Replacement surgery Specialists at the Udai Omni hospital have been performing modern joint replacements with excellent results.

The three most common joint replacement surgeries performed are hip, knee, and shoulder.

Knee Replacement: Performed to treat advanced or end-stage arthritis. When there is no effect of medicines on arthritis in the joints, or there is severe deformity, this surgery is recommended.
Hip Replacement: Total hip replacement is recommended if there is an occurrence of unbearable joint pain and prevents the person from being able to perform daily activities.
Shoulder Replacement: Shoulder joint replacement is usually required for patients who are suffering from severe forms of osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis and for those who have sustained severe trauma from a shoulder fracture.
Arthroscopic Surgery: Arthroscopy (also called arthroscopic surgery) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure on a joint in which an examination and sometimes treatment of damage is performed using an arthroscope.
